One of the many things I love about where we live is that I drive along the coast road to drop the boys off at their school on Dartmoor and can be in the city enjoying a coffee by 9am.
I did exactly this last Monday.
Dark, heavy clouds threatened rain but my spirits were high as I headed to my first Devon networking event.
This kicked started a week of activity that saw me secure a project for a new client, have a new business call and work picked up again on my next book, ‘PR for Authors’.
Of course, all of that was done with two growing boys to organise (and love), two dogs to walk and one husband busy renovating our garage so he can work from home.
This is why I love September, it’s all about new beginnings and getting stuff done before the end of the year.
While I didn’t join the networking group it gave me the chance to see that if you want to do something, only you can get it done.
So, with four weeks until half term, and a new Facebook group started for authors wanting tips on PR, let’s get this party started so NYE will be a time to really celebrate.
